Hello guys! So today, i’ll be doing my very first review about this product from Vida Nutriscience, Inc. which is the Snow™ Pore Minimizer Toner!!! I have been seeing good reviews about this product on the internet which made me interested and excited to try this one out and be a part of my skin care routine! First stop, let us define first what is a toner and what can it do and benefit to our skin?
What is a toner?
A toner is a kind of “lotion” that can be seen everywhere when you are in beauty shops, drugstores and even groceries. Simply because toners are one of the essentials to achieve the squeeky clean and radiant face you want. Toners are usually part of every girls’ skin routines. It cannot be left out, obviously, it has lots of ingredients that benefits our skin. It could remove traces of dusts and makeups that a facial cleanser cannot remove. Sometimes, toners could also remove tiny fragments of whiteheads and blackheads. (Based on my experience) Another thing that a toner can do is that it can minimize the size of pores, moisturize and hydrate our skin. More importantly, it restores your skin’s ph levels. There are lots of toners out there to try out. May it be cheap or expensive. All that matters is its effectiveness to what it claims.

Price:
I could say that if you are looking for a cheap yet effective toner, Snow™ Pore Minimizer Toner is a must have. For the cost of Php149.00 (Philippine Peso), you’ll have clean, radiant and tightened-pore face!
Compatibility Test:
If you are to try this out, Snow™ Pore Minimizer Toner encourages you to do a compatibility test first because there might be some ingredients that are not compatible for your skin knowing that we all have different skin types.
Apply a small amount of Snow™ Pore Minimizer toner to either sides of your cheeks for 12-24 hours. Check if there are redness, itchiness, burning sensation or skin irritation. If noticed that there are no skin reactions, it is safe to use for your face. Learning how to choose your toner right is a must because some toners can cause breakouts which means there are certain ingredients that are not suitable/compatible for your skin.
The Issue:
I really have large and widened pores especially on my left and right cheek and a kind of oily on my T-zone but dry on the other area of my face. I’ve been using other toners before but it didn’t reduce the size of my pores, instead it widened! Leaving my skin dry on other areas and oily only at my T-zone.
I don’t know if my widened pores can still be fixed but i hope that Snow™ Pore Minimizer Toner will do its work and claims.
Final Thoughts:
At first glance, i loved this toner. Knowing that its cheap and affordable but effective. It also has a nice packaging with an IPP patented sticker seal to ensure the buyers’ safety in using this product.
What i love about this product are:
- Its menthol effect after wiping it on your face
- It is not sticky nor greasy
- It is not a “heavy” toner
- I did not have any breakouts
What i hate about this product are:
- Its smell. I hate the strong medicine/hospital smell of this toner
- Its stings on my face because it has an alcohol ingredient
- My skin feels dryer since i have dry skin
- I cannot use it in the morning because toners with alcohol burns my face especially i’m exposed everyday to Mr. Sunshine
Effectivity:
As to its claims, i could say that this toner really minimized my large pores and it cleaned my pores as well but this toner made my skin drier since it has an alcohol component. Also, you cannot soak this toner to a cotton pad and make it as a mask because the menthol after effect is so intense that you’ll feel your face burning. (obviously, i tried it and my face got red and stung for over 5 minutes of putting the soaked cotton pad to my enlarged pores. thankfully, as i removed it immediately—because it really hurts— it left no burns or whatsoever unpleasing to my face. Just don’t try it especially if you have a very sensitive skin.)
Overall, this toner is good and really works. Just don’t forget to put lots of moisturizer after toning because it will definitely dry your skin out. I could say that in my case, i ran out of moisturizer and never had the chance to replace it so i just continued toning without moisturizing after which resulted to drying my skin a lot but really, Snow Pore Minimizer Toner lightened my skin, minimized my pores and made my skin look clear and free from dust and debris.
Rating:
